Dream Teams
Set up & Tear down
Modern Church is a portable church, this requires a significant amount of set up and tear down. This team gathers at our location early to set up all the equipment and stays late to tear everything down. This team oversees the set up and tear down of our media equipment, kids area, next steps table, coffee table, etc. Without this team we could not have church.
Coffee Table
This team prepares a variety of coffees, and bottled beverages. Refilling and cleaning when necessary. They provide people with a welcoming atmosphere and a great social environment before every service.
A-Team
A-Team uses the gift of administration to collect and maintain data to ensure information is 100% secure, complete and accurate so that everyone can take their next steps.
Overflow Team
The Overflow team prepares the essential media, signage and equipment in the overflow room. They also host our guest in the overflow room. This team has to be the jack of all trades in our church! Understanding and operating in a little bit of everything.
Prayer Team
The Prayer Team provides prayer for those seeking it at the end our our service. Service Prayer Teams intercede on behalf of those in attendance at our campus. This team is also dedicated to praying for our church, our weekend services, our church’s needs and our senior pastors.
WEEKEND SERVICE
Greeter
It has been said that you never get a second chance to make a first impressions. As people enter the door of Modern Church, we want to make certain that they feel welcome and are greeted with a warm smile, handshake, pat on the back or a hug. Come join us as we show the love of Jesus to everyone who enters our doors.
Dream Team Check In
The Dream Team Check-In Team creates a welcoming environment for our Dream Team members by greeting them with warmth and joy providing an excellent check-in experience at Dream Team Central before service.
Parking Lot
Parking Team Members help to create a warm welcoming atmosphere to all those who arrive at Modern Church every Sunday. If you like being outdoors, enjoy greeting and assisting people this might be a great fit for you. The parking team ministry is always a fun place to serve and it is a great way to get to know the people of Modern Church as well as serve new guests who come our way each week.
Security Team
Having a safe place for both adults and kids to come to know God is extremely important to us. The security team monitors all areas of our location to provide a safe environment for all who attend our service. If an occasion arose where someone was intentionally being disruptive or cause a threat to our kids classrooms, etc, the security team should respond quickly and professionally to ensure a smooth flow at every event.
Ushers
We are a highly visible team that serves our members and guests as they enter the sanctuary by greeting, seating people and assisting with special needs. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has a positive and uninterrupted worship experience. Our team also collect the offering, assists with ministry lines, service communion, distributes materials and straightens the sanctuary and chairs after each service. We are ready and positioned to respond to the needs of our pastors and people.
HOST TEAM
Nursery
We minister to God’s little ones – children 3 months to 24 months. Each classroom is a place where children are cared for, nurtured and loved by people who love babies. We want to show and teach our little ones about our heavenly Father’s love.
Kids Check-In
We love kids at Modern Church and a top priority is their well-being and safety. Children’s Check-In provides the process necessary to ensure that family members feel at ease entrusting their kids to our care as they learn about Jesus. Children’s Check-In team members help to provide friendly assistance to our new guests as well as our members as they navigate our check-In process.
Preschool
Ministering the Word of God to children ages 2-5 in a fun, yet structured setting. We teach children about the Bible and how to know the love of Jesus through story time, praise and worship, crafts, games and activities.
Elementary
Reaching children who are 6 years old through fifth grade in a fun, powerful and practical way. We minister God’s Word through object lesson sermons, puppets, games and video segments. We also experience God’s presence through an awesome time of praise and worship.
NEXT GEN.
Worship Team
As members of the worship team and band, our purpose is to usher others into the awesome presence of God through music. We create an environment that helps people experience God’s presence in a way that leads to freedom, healing and radically changed lives. If you sing, or play an instrument, this is the place for you!
Production Team
If you have experience or an interest in running cameras, audio or lighting systems, or have a passion for using technology to worship God then this is the place for you. Our team works behind the scenes to provide technical support for all of the ministries on campus. Duties include, running sound boards, operating computer graphics and slides, running lighting cues, operating cameras, and even doing stage design. We support the worship team, teaching team and modern kids. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment then come join our team.
Creative Team
If you’re ready to tell Modern Church’s story in pictures or videos, this is the team for you! Do you have a way of designing graphics, capturing video, or taking photos that inspires people to engage? If you love generating great content or producing live event coverage, we’ve got a place for you on the creative team!

Service Support
The Service Support Team helps to create an excellent, distraction-free environment by working “behind the scenes” to maintain and support excellence in every area of our facilities.
Modern Group Leader
Modern group leaders help to make our large church small. Leading a group is easy; just do what you love and invite others to join you. Whether it’s a bible or book study, riding motorcycles or mountain bikes, the point is doing life together.
God Sized Vision (GSV) Team
The GSV team is for people who have the gift of giving “the contributor”. This team is made up of self-identified individuals, families and businesses who feel led to advance the overall vision and mission goals of Modern Church through designated strategic financial giving. This team is more directly involved in advancing specific vision goals in the lanes of Global Missions, National Church Plants, Local Outreaches, and Next Generation Projects (Kids/Students). It also includes Capital Projects that encompass, but aren't limited to, new campus launches, building expansions/renovations, and debt reduction initiatives.

Next Steps Table
Next Steps Team members welcome all of the first-time guests on Sunday mornings. They are available to answer questions, give tours and help in any way necessary. Their goal is to identify and help others take their next step. If you have the gift of hospitality or just have a passion to welcome new people to our church this may be a perfect fit for you.
Baptism
The Baptism Team hosts baptism services, ensuring the experience is excellent and meaningful for those making public declarations of their faith in Jesus.
Growth Track Team
Growth Track is our on-boarding process for church membership and our Dream Team serve opportunities. Growth Track takes place every week after service. Growth Track hosts welcome guests, help with hospitality and are available to answer questions and help with connecting people to serve areas. Growth Track team members are responsible to set up and tear down before and after growth track, as well as create a welcoming environment for anyone attending class. Growth Track team members might be asked to host the class on occasion.
